SALARY:
$46,880 - $65,632
DESCRIPTION:
Primary responsibility of this position will be providing nursing
services as the Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) and HIV
Coordinator. Duties will also include working in general clinics.
ESSENTIAL
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
General knowledge of management principles, techniques,
and practices; thorough knowledge of the principles and
practices of public health; working knowledge of applicable
federal and state laws, rules, and regulations; ability
to exercise sound judgment in analyzing situations and
making decisions; direct employees and programs in the
various areas of responsibility; and, develop and maintain
effective working relationships with the general public
and with federal, state and local officials.
REQUIREMENTS:

Graduation
from a four-year college or university with a BS Degree
in Nursing which includes a Public Health Nursing rotation
and one year of Pubic Health Nursing experience; or

Graduation
from an accredited school of professional nursing and
two years of professional nursing experience including
one year in public health.

Licensed
to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by
the NC Board of Nursing.
