Triad Health Project

The Public Health Partners Award is awarded to recognize organizations, businesses, and professional associations that have made significant contributions to the advancement and promotion of public health in North Carolina.

The Triad Health Project has been a partner to public health for the past 10 years. They are the primary referral point for quality case management for those identified as HIV positive in Guilford County. Well known for their progressive approaches to targeted interventions. They are currently working with Wake Forest University to implement the project- Increasing HIV Testing through Chat Room Based Promotion.

The Triad Health Project often deals with clients that have such challenges as mental illness, substance abuse, and homelessness in addition to being HIV positive. Their empathy and effectiveness for meeting the holistic needs of their clients from the basics such as food to the complex such as navigating the mental health system cannot be overstated That is why we have selected the TRIAD HEALTH PROJECT as the NCALHD Public Health Partner of the Year.
